“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness” -Desmond Tutu
Dear Sister,
In this week’s video, I talk about the power of HOPE.
Sometimes when we turn on the news and see the latest tragedy or experience intense challenges in our day to day world, it can feel overwhelming.
I know, because I have a sensitive heart and soul that feels it all… and when you are someone like me who lives this way, the pain of the world can sometimes be too much. Especially when you have your own complex life to navigate!!
But what I want to share today is that there is great power in cultivating and remembering to have HOPE.
Although I personally know of so many examples of pain and suffering, both my own and in the world around me, I can give you equally as many examples of RESURRECTION and MIRACLES.
I speak a lot about miracles, because in a world that gives us daily reasons to question what’s real... I believe we have to trust in miracles and depend on them, even dare to expect them every day.
These stories of resurrection and miracles help us to generate hope that there will always be light, even after the darkest nights.
I know this to be true in my own experience, and I share some examples of those stories here as well.
If you are facing challenges, or know anyone else who is right now, and you could use a little BOOST… I want you to know that I believe in you, that you are so supported and loved, and please keep the faith, dear Sister.
You are more resilient and powerful than you could ever imagine, and I hope this video is helpful for you.
With all my heart,
Xo
