    Queen Conversations

    May 15, 2019

“She is the kind of Queen that knows her crown isn’t on her head, but in her Soul”
    -Adrian Michael

    Dear Sister,

This week and last week I am talking about what it means to think like a Queen.

As I shared last week, in the work I lead and teach on archetypes, inevitably the Queen archetype is one of the most important and powerful ones that women come to embody.

    To Review:

A Queen is a woman who believes in herself, treats herself with love and respect, and honors her own needs as valid, worthy, and essential. And in doing this for herself, she is at her best in the world, and others learn how they are allowed to treat her.

Last week I shared in this video the importance of asking yourself the question: What do I need in order to be at my best?

    Which sounds simple enough, right?

Except that asking for what we need, voicing our true desires, can actually be REALLY FREAKING HARD and VULNERABLE.

Especially if it has been ingrained in you to put others needs first, and then get by on whatever energy or resources are left over for yourself.

The mindset of a Queen not only asks the question:  What do I need?

But also then takes the next step and says: What do I need to VOICE and EXPRESS in order to get my needs met?

This can be such a hard thing for women to do… to voice our truth and desires from deep self-love and worthiness, rather than from what feels like from our inner brat.

But it’s so essential to learn this skill so we can truly embodying our QUEEN energy. We have to have courageous conversations… over and over again. And once we get good at them, it starts to become second nature (rather than something that makes you want to vomit or have a panic attack… can you relate??)

I like to call these Queen Conversations. :-) Queen Conversations help us to come from a deep sense of worthiness, self-love, and courage. And I hope this video inspires you to have more of them.

Enjoy the video below… and I look forward to hearing your thoughts about this topic!

    With love,

    Laura
