    Let your Light Shine

    May 31, 2019

“We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.”

    -Marianne Williamson

    Dear Sister,

In our final week exploring the Queen Archetype, and sharing what it means to “think like a Queen,” let’s talk about the importance of shining bright, shall we?

As I shared before, in the work I lead and teach on archetypes, inevitably the Queen archetype is one of the most important and powerful ones that women come to embody.

    To review one last time:

A Queen is a woman who believes in herself, treats herself with love and respect, and honors her own needs as valid, worthy, and essential. And in doing this for herself, she is at her best in the world and shines bright like a star... while others learn how they are allowed to treat her by how they see her treating herself.

This week, I want to talk about the quality of RADIANCE… because a woman who embodies her queen is someone who radiates light and love from the inside out.

Yet if you are like many women, you may have learned (whether consciously or unconsciously) that you had to dim your own light in order to fit in, or to make others feel comfortable.

You may shy away from your radiance because it makes you STAND OUT… and the truth is, that can feel much scarier and vulnerable than not being noticed at all.

But you deserve to stand out, and your light is unique and beautiful. The more you share it with others, the more you inspire others to do the same. And this is a real revolution, sisters. Women standing in their radiance and encouraging and inspiring other women to do the same.

This is a true Queen. A woman who shines her light from within, and stands for other women to do the same, rather than feeling threatened by a woman who shines her light as well.

The more we empower other women to shine, the more we empower the collective feminine to rise and heal. We all win, sisters.

There’s never too much light or beauty or radiance to be shared… so keep shining yours. And as Marianne Williamson says, may this empower and “liberate others to do the same.”

Enjoy the video this week about sharing your radiance…. and please share your thoughts about this topic!

    With love,

    Laura
