“If you create the game then you create the rules.
And if you just be YOU,
There's no way you can lose”
-by India Arie in her song Just Do You
Dear Sister,
In my 20+ years of empowering women and also continually growing and working on myself, I have come across a common fear over and over again…
“I’m afraid I’m a fraud and the world is going to find out one day…”
Does this ever feel true for you?
When we take bold risks to put ourselves out there, whether in business, our passions, or relationships, fears often come up and try to run the show.
Not long ago, I did a video on talking to your fears and allowing them to have a voice, maybe even become a teacher for you.
This week, I’m going deeper into some of the common fears that come up as we expand and grow, and this one is a big one for the women I work with on a regular basis.
The truth is, this fear of being a fraud is also rooted in a deeply ingrained fear that we are not enough and that we will never be enough to really make it and add value to the world.
Sounds harsh, right? But sadly this deeper fear and belief system is often running the show!
But in this week’s video. I suggest a shift in perspective and offer a different way of thinking that invites you to JUST BE YOURSELF and own your story and your authenticity.
When you JUST DO YOU, rather than constantly comparing yourself to others…
And when you share from YOUR HEART your own experience…
there’s no such thing as being a fraud.
Check out this week’s video, and let me know your thoughts!
I would love to hear from you.
And if there are any recurring fears you have been facing as you’re expanding and growing into your destiny, I’d love to hear about them and perhaps make a video to support you in moving through those, too!
With love,
Laura
